+1. I've been curious to see shots from different perspectives as it does indeed give a better sense of the room...regardless of whether the photos have pristine clarity.

I get additional sense of how awesome this two channel room must be in person. Thanks for posting them Cyril.

Ivan...thanks again for a wonderful event and first class affair and many thanks to you, Donna, Rich and Shanna for being so gracious and hospitable.

By the way folks, Ivan's "access" room between the 2-channel and home theater rooms I think showcases his passion and professionalism and minute attention to detail. Just walking through that and listening to him describe what he did and how he did it was very telling about his approach to this hobby and this business for him. Everything is thought through and executed upon to the last detail. I wish I had taken a quick pic of that room because that was super impressive

Here are some shots of the two channel room. Obviously, many will be repeats of other's.

"The Wall" dominates at first, but you get lost in the music so quickly that the blue lights just become background. The turntable is a work of modern art. It is gorgeous to behold - it sounds even better. The back corners each have a Fathom 113 on those magnificent stands (I will have to order some). They are dialed in at the very bottom of the Strad's range and are completely unobtrusive. The shot of the left main serves two purposes - one, of course, is a shot of one of the prettiest speakers I have ever seen, but the other is show the door jamb. It is inset that far because the walls are that thick! This room is isolated from the rest of the house by very, very dense wall materials (think saws break cutting it). The soffet that surrounds the tops of the walls are bass traps, there are tube traps behind the speakers, wall panels on the walls and additional panels on the ceilings. Standing two feet away, one barely notices them - they are completely integrated into the decorating. I only recognized the soffets as bass traps because I have been looking at the product for my own use. The "feel" of the room is inviting, comfortable and elegant. It is a fortress of solitude. But this is no only "a girl with a guitar sounds good room." The Strads and 2301's can play anything - and I mean anything. You got trance, techno, rock, metal? No problem. You got anything else? No problem. The bass response in this room was something to behold - and it was not the Fathoms, it was mid-bass that was dialed in tight by speaker positioning. The "Speaker-whisperer" indeed.

Randy...very well described Very good meeting you for that brief moment by the way. I would have liked to talk to you more but I did not want to intrude on you while you were grabbing a bite

"Front" and "back" shots of The Wall.

The back is the nearly famous catwalk. It is a testament to careful planning, meticulous execution, and a monument to Ivan's passion for this hobby. I could have stood there for an hour looking at it, but people would have talked.

Here is the home theater.

I will write separately about the sound in this theater and in the two channel room, but suffice to say there is no more immersive audio in a theater experience than this room. The pictures were chosen to highlight the decorating and creature comforts of this theater. For example, the wall sconse is a small detail, but it is exquisite and fits the feel of the room exactly. The chairs are osterich leather. I have fine leather power reclining chairs in my theater - these make mine feel like folding chairs. Just incredibly comfortable.

Randy.......Thanks for posting the photos. I am glad you captured a couple shots of the cat walk room between the two channel room and the theater.

Here is the Burmester rig.

The poster is included because it ID's what is on the rack. Sorry I am inept, I did not manage to rotate the poster shot to make it upright.

Here is the Bryston rig. The speakers are outside this small room, i.e. the speakers are in the game room. I only heard this gear briefly, but I thought it sounded darned good.

Great photos Randy.....! I don't think I ever noticed before that there is even a TV in the catwalk room. May I ask what this is for Ivan? Surely not to watch Lifetime movies.....
