Unless you use some forward tilt by adjusting the spikes, when seated, your ears should be at the same height as the top of the enclosure.
The 804d3 are shorted than my previous speakers so it helps align my ears a little better.

When I had 804D2's they were amazing. The great thing about the MC1.2KW, MC601, or MC452 is you can utilize two sets of taps per channel. Try running the 4ohm taps to the bass section, the 8ohm taps to the tweeter section. It makes the B&Ws sound amazing!!

Be careful with the 3db difference when you do that.

Did you guys open the top and remove the accessories and then flip the box with the bottom end facing up and then pull out the box? Install feet, etc
