Your amplifier could be the culprit, from what I understand it combines both Class A and D into it's topology along with a digital conversion of all inputs .....correct ? Given Logans known capacitence challenges to amplifiers and cabling this could be an issue ?? |

I own the Montis and have had them for six months. They sound fabulous, they took a little time to break in and I also upgraded my amp to a Mcintosh tube M275... After the amp upgrade it more than doubled the greatness of these speakers!!!! I wouldn't trade these for the world

I got a pair of ethos back in March And they sound incredible. Best speakers I've ever had. The bass that these speakers produce is amazing. I have a Martin Logan Descent i sub and sometimes I don't turn it on when listening to music.

I paired my Montis with MC275 in mono. Wonderful combination. Regards Udo |

My next item will be another MC275 and will run in mono also, question what are you using as a preamp? I love my Montis ML's got them unopened for less than half retail, that was a lucky score while it did take a while for break in the tube amp makes it more enjoyable all around

I am burning in my new Ethos. Bass was much less than Montis.
But it work as a surround speakers in conjunction with my main speakers (big Magico) very well. Toga |

most definitely , just so you know , the Montis did not replace the Vantage, rather the Spire.
