I spoke with Roger on the phone and in person, he had no issues with the MC2300 in front of the Magtech so no modifications were done.

The black 20.1s remind me of the black monolith from 2001 Space Odyssey.

The Modwright BDP105 sounds great, the Tung Sols match really well with the system and the 20.1s. The only problem with the Oppo is the streaming software, its way behind Linn.

On another note, I spoke with Dan Wright about his new Elyse Dac, initial reviews put it way beyond the 105, even better than the Meitner Dac's.

I can't figure out how to add the pictures full size into the thread sorry. I am showing Magnepan 3.7i speaker, JL Fathom 110 subs and Mye stands which I have not assembled yet. I have the McIntosh C2300 preamp and MC601 amps. Other gear is by Bryston which are BDA-1, BDP-1, BHA-1 and APC power conditioner. Also you will note the white strip down the center of the back of the 3.7i after the upgrade. My room is 22' wide and 24' deep. Please show us pictures of your systems.

~Mike
HELL of a nice system! Wow!

Here is my 20.1 system. Forgive the crappy stands and incomplete VPI setup. I am overseas most of the time. Also, here are two more of my front end, and headphone setup on a crappy computer stand I grabbed from the garage. I have a Solid Tech stand that still requires assembly.

Robert,

That is a great system you have put together with some real high end gear. Your Magnepan's look really good in oak with the off white socks. I like that rack of Esoteric gear too First class all the way. Can you tell me what amps you are using and what their power rating are? Very nice, thank you for posting.

Jim,

Great system with those hot-rodded MGIIIa's. I see you aren't lacking for bass with those two big subs! That Clear Audio turn table is sure a beauty. You also have a great collection of vintage gear. Thank you posting!

Thanks, those are Krell FPB 350mcx's, but I am in the process of buying some Pass XA 100.5's to add to run the tweeters and use the Krells for the bass panels.
