Mike.......I would love to do a head to head shootout between the Esoteric K-03 and the MCD1100. I have no doubt the results would be interesting to a wide audience as well as me. I love my MCD1100 players, but I am not married to them. A new girl on the block might thrill me better if the performance was there, and easily bump one or both of the Mac's out the door were I so inclined.

Thanks for the encouragement about writing. Retirement does get in the way. Besides, it is far more fun to write for entertainment than employment. No schedules, no deadlines, no bull.
