Thanks, been spinning vinyl for hours. What a treat. Also John did me a huge favor and rushed my cover fabrication which shipped today. Happy camper.

Congratulation, Now I can see your picture.
May I ask some questions.
Is it ok to use Phono MM, not MC!?

You are listening at 70% volume. Is it very loud!?

Sorry to ask many questions because I can never listen to vinyl over 40% volume.

Happy Listening

I am far from an expert so not sure about the MC / MM but I assume both are ok to use. This cartridge came with my unit so will be on the hunt for another and most likely will go with a MC.

As far as the volume, right now I have my MA5200 driving my new 802Ds and when playing vinyl I find the volume to be less than half of playing FLACs from the USB input. Again still dialing everything in and need to wait until my MC452 and C2500 are connected to judge where things are.

Just received my case today from J DisplayCase and couldn't be happier. First I have to say the packing and shipping was first class. The box it came in was massive filled with foam peanuts surrounding the cover. Then the case itself was wrapped in bubble wrap and then in a thick plastic bag. As you can see the case itself first perfectly on the MT10 and has convenient side cutouts for easy removal. The case also came with a set of small circular felt stickers which, if desired, can be placed on the 4 contact points, which I did. Phenomenal case and fantastic service. If looking for a case or any acrylic fabrication I highly recommend giving John a call.
