Default Shure SE535s on their way

Bought the Shure SE535s from Michael at Sound Earphones. Should arrive today. Very easy transaction and great price.

Remember, Sound Earphones is an AA sponsor!

Congrats! Let us know how you like it. Are you gonna go custom in the future?

Not planning to go custom. I only use these for travel. And, I'm traveling a bit less these days than I used to.

At home, I only use the main system.

I purchased several different sets before these, and have had no need/desire to look further. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Just got delivery of the SE535s 1 hour ago. They sound much better than the SE215s they are replacing - they should! I never cared to spend too much $ on earphones. Glad I bought these. So much nicer - more balanced, more dynamic, much better bottom end.

Should help make international air travel a joy!

Mike,

I also have a set of SE535s and use them at the health club and when I travel. The yellow foam has the best fit for my ears but they need to be replaced frequently. For serious listening I still prefer Stax.

Enjoy the Se535.

Mike, you're going to love these for those long international flights. I use them with the triple flange tips - the isolation is outstanding, and they fit close to my ears so I don't have to worry about them if I put my ear against a pillow. I can go Vancouver to Sydney OZ without taking them out except to talk to the flight attendant.
