No, I switch it on about an hour before listening, and turn it off when finished for the day.

Took a while after the first listen, but it left a lasting impression that required a 2nd listen at home. After trying balanced with Pass and ARC pre amps, the quality of the cj GAT shone thru.

I now have a great pair of tube amps in my cj prem8a's with Teflon caps and now the ss Momentum S amp. And no more sweating during summer with the tube amps raising the temperature too much

You are not wrong. It seems to be about 10 degrees cooler with the SS amp compared to my tubes on normal summer days - on hot days like this won't make much difference as it is bloody hot regardless

I have not experienced any sonically improvement, but it enhance the visual expression of the amp a lot . Well worth the rather stiff price IMO.

It seems that it looks great, but does not improve the sound - or maybe a better of looking at it - it does not make it sound worse. I'll have a look when the dealer gets a couple in.

The Stereophile review by MF in the February 13 issue has arrived in the mail. Bottom line he states that along with the DarTZel 458's it is one of the two best amps he has heard.
