Dan will probably put the price up to 30k now

Sven, do you leave your momentums on all the time or just when listening?

Cheers

No, I switch it on about an hour before listening, and turn it off when finished for the day.

I now have a great pair of tube amps in my cj prem8a's with Teflon caps and now the ss Momentum S amp. And no more sweating during summer with the tube amps raising the temperature too much

At 108 degrees Farenheit in this part of Australia today you are looking like a genius.I will not be firing up the Pass Labs any time soon.
Enjoy the "cool".

You are not wrong. It seems to be about 10 degrees cooler with the SS amp compared to my tubes on normal summer days - on hot days like this won't make much difference as it is bloody hot regardless

cheers

That is a beautiful looking amp. I haven't had the opportunity to hear it, but reports so far seem very positive.

I have not experienced any sonically improvement, but it enhance the visual expression of the amp a lot . Well worth the rather stiff price IMO.

Sven
thanks Sven.

It seems that it looks great, but does not improve the sound - or maybe a better of looking at it - it does not make it sound worse. I'll have a look when the dealer gets a couple in.

cheers

The Stereophile review by MF in the February 13 issue has arrived in the mail. Bottom line he states that along with the DarTZel 458's it is one of the two best amps he has heard.
