f1 fan.....I guess my 402 doesn't make the grade as "sounding good" yet

I haven't pushed it up to 40 yet...... but I have come close...really

Cisco,
Just keep track of the neighbors, and when they go out, crank it up!!

Does someone know when the 2301's have been reviewed in Absolute Sound ?
I wonder why this review is not on the Mc web site.
I would be very curious to read what they say about them.
Don't want to pollute this 402 thread with that, but the 2301's are truly amazing.

Hey 'cisco,

You'll get there, just keep pushing actually the 402 sounds good at any volume!

Hey Jerome,

Good to see you! I was wondering the same thing about the 2301's. I've not seen anything on the newsstand. When the time is right send us some new pics front and back and of course a review. Hope all is well

I love my 402. I use it to drive a pair of Magnepan MG3.6R's to sweet perfection. In my old house I was in a much smaller room and never thought I would even entertain considering something bigger like 501s or 1.2kWs. The room I am now is much bigger and I find myself bumping up against the 400W reading fairly regularly. So someday (in a galaxy far far away!) I'll look at going with big monoblocks. Maybe there will also be a Maggie 3.7 by then too.
