Hi
Just read the MX150 manual breifly. Open windows and if the heating/cooling system is on and among other things will create noicy room, it must be quiet when the measurment is procceding. I was heading in this direction, if you now what I mean. Thanks

At least it was a simple fix and I will quickly forget the initial disappointment. Love that McIntosh factory support as well as dealer support. Dunno if I should ask Master Lu to delete this thread or not -- it has somewhat of a negative vibe to it OTOH, it provides some insight into dealer and factory support and why I am and have been for years a big fan of Chuck Hinton at Mc and am a big Mc fan.  Everything appears well, but must wait until my wife is gone for a couple of hours to run enough test tones to get to 90% knowledge level in Room Perfect -- she gets real fussy about listening to test tones and not making noises...
