***WARNING***- 2017 onwards Mustang's constantly have very poor ANCAP Safety Ratings. Two stars for a modern car is just not good enough. Let's hope this version is better built and has the safety features ordinary cars have.

Folks get themselves into trouble with the base GT 460hp output let alone 760. It’s an outdated chassis.

I'll watch it rush by in a flash and feel smug it isn't me behind the wheel. I want to live to see tomorrow. .

Its also my understanding the GT500 will share the chassis refinements of the GT350. I had two of the last GT500's and the car would absolutely try to kill you every chance it could (which I rather liked actually). I also had a normal 2017 GT and while no where near the GT500, it could step out on you even with the traction control on. Having said this, I also had a 2017 GT350 and while it had 100+ more HP than the GT, it drove and handled like a hot knife through butter. It was extremely well behaved and is nothing like the other Mustang's they ever made. If the new GT500 builds on the GT350, then this is going to be a super car!

It looks like the price is starting at $73,995 including shipping and a $2,600 gas-guzzler tax. The Zero to sixty is a bit slower than the C8. Both priced similarly but the Vette will end up higher with that extensive option list.
