Default Denon AVR-X4000 died. Recommendations for a new one?

Getting a flashing red light. Reset the unit. Disconnected everything. Still turns off and flashes red. Considering a repair and/or replacing it.

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on replacement, Denon or otherwise. I will never use surround sound or a center channel. Just 2.2 for me. I have two 13in Fathoms and a pair of JBL S310 floor standing Studio series.

I play games, watch a lot of Star Trek on AppleTV, clarity of audio is great

Requirements:

Dual monitor out
AirPlay support
Video from one source and audio from separate source would be nice too
High power for future speakers
Must play at high volume for 2.5hrs during powerlifting sessions at home gym
4K HDR Support for future

Thank you

Since this is AA

I'd suggest having a look at the Classe Sigma series.

The SSP will need external power amps but it does pretty much everything you want. Except for dual HDMI out. The matching Amp2 or Amp5 run very cool too.

You can even set multiple "inputs" to one physical source. So you could for instance have a BDP set for 5 channel with minimal bass management for music blurays, 2 channel with no bass management for stereo and 5 channels with full bass management for movies.

The closer match would be the Classe Sigma integrated - which is a 2 channel version of the SSP complete with HDMI inputs and a 2 channel amp.

I couldn't find the integrated but the SSP with the Amp2 is a very sexy minimalist combination. Thank you for the suggestion, looking very hard at the pair. Do you know of the current status of the 4K passthru support or Auto Room correction upgrades by chance?

Edit - Wait, is the SSP-800 the integrated?

The integrated was just announced two weeks ago. They had a working prototype.

The guy who gave the presentation reckons the integrated is in some ways better as it maintains a full digital signal from preamp module to the power modules. It is Classe's own Class D design with PFC and some interesting improvements in the zero switching that reduces the noise traditionally associated with Class D.

We were also shown the new HDMI 2.0/HDCP2.2 boards with the upgrade for Atmos/DTSX which is coming soon. It will do 5.1.2 max

I think the current model already passes through 4k from say an Oppo.

Classe has never been a fan of AutoEQ. They reckon you can use even a simple app like Audio Tools on a smartphone and run the manual EQ to get better results.
