Thanks. I would...if I could...but I can't. I was just curious so it's no biggie. I appreciate your response!

Looks good Serge!!

Putting the speaker together is similar to the Maxxes from your pic's. Is it much different to the sasha's outside the the tweeter?

Personally, can't say I would want a more forgiving warmer sound that you mentioned earlier with my Maxxes. That is probably not just the new tweeter. Extra " air" from the soft dome tweeter would be nice.

BTW, how do the Momentum stands sound? Do they actually offer any sonic benefits or just look pretty

Shane, there is no loss of air with the new tweeter that I have noticed which is great. The Alexia's are in fact even more open sounding with even better imaging in my room. Are they much different than Sasha? Different enough where I was seriously impressed with the bass qualities, imaging and those qualities that can not be easily explained but you are drawn into music even deeper which to me is always a good thing. I tend to listen less "passively" with Alexia so far. It's all good, no complaints so far.

I can't really say about the Momentum stands and their "sound". I did notice the amps sounded better after lifting them off the floor but they were still new when the stands went in. I wouldn't care if the stands did absolutely nothing for sound as they look great with the amps.

The Alexia are continuing to break in very nicely. I have been listening more seriously this week and I love them.

If you liked and enjoyed your Sasha's, you will love the Alexia. They do everything Sashas did but better! This is really the best way I can describe it. The Alexia will sound very familiar yet you will instantly hear how much more the Alexia is capable of. With a good amp they will amaze you with even better dynamic prowess, even deeper, more authoritative bass, even better focus and imaging overall. The mids are gorgeous, it is a real treat to listen to vocals and more intimate acoustic recordings. The new tweeter does not lose any upper detail and air but is a bit more relaxed in overall response, in the sense it is just a bit more forgiving. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed trading up to Alexia if the extra $$$ doesn't bother you.

I can only imagine that the synergy with your amplifiers must be quite special and I am sure this is a typical respone!

Buddy, the D'Agostino Momentum amps were voiced with Wilson speakers and were truly awesome with Sashas. Alexia and Momentum monos have raised the bar even higher.

I am pretty sure the Alexia makes these amps work a bit harder as I am seeing more meter activity than I have in the past with Sashas. Or it could be I am getting carried away and having even more fun with Alexia. Just this evening I was getting into some jazz and listening to some of my favorites such as Dave Brubeck Time Out, Ray Brown's Soular Energy, then on to Sun Ra, Thelonious Monk, some Coltrane, Mingus, M.Davis followed by a break and then listening to some Rock (Rush, The Who,Led Zepp), some Reggae and even Folk Metal for variety. The Alexia/Momentum combo absolutely shines across all genres. I am winding down now with some Vivaldi and Albioni for a bit of classical.... Listening for the better part of the afternoon and this evening has once again made me feel great about the upgrade! I love my Alexia's.
