They looked good last time I saw them, but they look even better in your room! It's fun to know I spent some time with this very pair at the factory. Enjoy Serge, and congrats! They look fabulous!

I have to get used to the fact that they appear much taller from the listening seat by comparison to Sasha's that I was used to seeing.
They look absolutely fantastic from the listening position with their modular tweeters/mids look. They are taller but not too much so in the room. Just for reference, I am 6'2". Don't make fun of my house slippers, they are VERY comfortable and warm! |

Ok I am settling in for an extended listening session. I freed up some time for tomorrow so I can stay up late tonight.
I've already listened to a few CD's and initial impressions are very positive. The Alexia paints an even bigger scale sonic picture, a more expansive, enveloping soundstage, the dynamic contrast is even more impressive, the bass is more articulate and has more impact and slam. I was hoping that the new tweeter would not cause a loss of airiness while being more forgiving. So far I can not detect any of what I would consider negatives or sacrifices but the overall sound IS more forgiving overall, a smidgen warmer tonal balance while the Alexia is just as impressive and thrills and wows as much as Sasha did in my system with the openness, airiness, effortless dynamics, imaging that is jaw dropping and scale, bottom end speed, definition and articulation. Definitely a step in the right direction. I am having a great time discovering the new traits of the Alexia twins! |

WOW WOW WOW !!!!
Serge, huge congrats and thanks a lot for the pics and the video : awesome !!! Even on the video, it seems obvious that the highs are to die for. "September in Montreal..." reminded me my 3 years there. Who is this artist ? Wonderful music. Mazal Tov my friend ! Enjoy them in great health for many years to come !
