Bob
I will be glad to feed you all in about a month.....

The Palo Santos is really incredible! The SME and the cartridge took almost 2 months to show their full potential.....but after that....

Cool Beans Jimmy. I'm glad you're so happy with my suggestion of the Sumiko PSP on the SME arm. Definitely not an inexpensive cartridge, but when one considers many fine cartridges available, it is hard to beat.

Best sir & congrats on the Vivaldi stack.

Bob

Jimmyk70 - when you get used to the new sound, get yourself a rubidium clock (there is an 10MHz input for Rubidium reference at the back od the Scarlatti clock).

The sound of my Scarlatti driven by Antelope 10M and Antelope OCX clocks, was the best I've heard. And I believe there are even better rubidium clocks than Antelope 10M ...

I am really having a problem cause this week finally my analogic system arrived, a SME 20/3, with SME V tone arm, and Palo Santos Cartridge....what to listen to? Once i feel the Scarlatti is delivering a more analogic sound than a TT, if this is possible.....
Don't tell me you would love to have these problems.....please!
I am relly thinking about selling the SME.....
Jimmy would you mind sharing pix of your system? I'd love to see the beauty of your system

Lol....Bob! Exactly! Save me from staying at home listening to music instead of chasing those beautiful Brazilian Girls.....
I ve started to invest in Audio Gear just after marriage....7 years ago.....

There are some pictures of my system in The Aida Thread.....
After that i changed the room , and exchanged the Puccini for the Scarlatti. Now i am changing it again for the Vivaldi and added an analogic system with the SME in the front.
As soon as the vIvaldi arrives i will post new pics.
All the best!

Hi Adam
A friend of mine was buying a Scarlatti from Polland , was it yours? Anyway he ended up buying mine....sorry.
What is the main difference with the Rubidium clock exactly?
I am keeping the Scarlatti clock. I bought only the Transport/ dac/upsampler.
Cant think of much improvement apart from the visual style.
All the best

Yes. Buying local is always best option.

BTW - I'm selling the Scarlatti for $25k (transport and DAC) if anyone is interested (universal voltage). Not nearly as good as the Vivaldi, but only 1/3 of the price.

This is a Best Buy!
Actually i cant believe there is something 5% better than the Scarlatti. In my case i am giving me a present for my Doughters birth( it means at least a year without going out much.....).Being very realistic i doubt anyone needs anything better than the Scarlatti stack
.
