Slight toe-in. You have to experiment to get the right soundstage.

Interesting in that the toe-in I used for the S1.4s is about exactly the same as for my S3.4. However the S3.4s are about one foot further apart (almost 7 feet).

My 3.4s are also 7 ft apart, and I toe them in so that from my listening chair, the inside side of the cabinet just disappears from view.

I have less toe-in. If I move about 2 feet back from my listening position the cabinet insides disappear at that point. This difference may just come down to room reflections. I am not using any treatments.

I think you're right. I arrived at my setup by measuring real-time, in-room frequency response with REW to provide the flattest response and minimize modes and nulls. I also found moving the seating position forward or back 6 inches made a difference.

Also, unlike most folks, I listen along the diagonal of my space...

Agreed. Plugs are almost always a bad idea. With Dynaudio it really makes no sense. If you want a speaker that has less bass or can be placed close to the wall, then Dynaudio is a really bad choice. There are much better options than a Dynaudio with blocked ports IMO.

Congrats. They look awesome. The S1.4 is one hell of a good speaker.
