I think you will find the CA200 is a keeper and will really make the 140s sing. You may even want to hook it up to the C4s at some point in time just to see what it can do with them. Please keep us appraised of your impressions and experiences as you get to know the CA200.
A bit awkward with my C4's but we may try it on Buddy's (Audio 1) C2's this weekend.

Nice that there's another Dyn owner nearby....

That should be fun. I'd like to know what you think of that pairing

Boxy is good! As long as it's stylish boxy. I'd have to rate the Focus series as my favorite for looks (pretty much regardless of manufacturer). So many speakers are unnecessarily "extravagant" in their looks. SF? Not a fan of the designs. As far as Dyn, I'm not a fan of C2, C4, Contour floorstanders and Evidence series as far as looks go. They're not exactly ugly or anything, and obviously the craftmanship is beyond reproach, but visually they just don't appeal to me, while for example the very unassuming Focus 260 is just absolutely gorgeous in its simplicity.

On more "design-ey" speakers, something like the Paradigm Studio floorstanders with grills on look good, but in the long term I'd still most likely rather look at the Dyns. But then, who's to say for sure without trying, especially as short term and long term are different, and of course in person is different than pictures.

Nice to read about the Dyns - I enjoyed my 52SE when I had them. Danes do it right, they say.

Just goes to show that there's no accounting for tastes...I think the Focus and Excite series are too conservatively styled for my tastes. I really like the styling of the Contour and Confidence series...I like their modern, Scandanavian design look.

It is fun, isn't it. I love the look of the 140's in rosewood, and the reason I didn't go for the Contours was their "edgy" look. Of course I'm very careful of the new woman's acceptance factor. Got to ease her into what I want.
