I am all for wood finishes personally, I see no need to move away from that

Ok, I'll take a stab at it.

From the teaser:
"Xpect a revolution. X is easy, X is smart, X is game changing"
"Xtraordinarily innovative. X is the freedom you need. X is the pureness you crave"
"Xtremely different. X is a new way of listening to music. X is awesomely brillant."

Plus the teaser image on the 1/4 update. Dynaudio - All there is.

Now from Mick both here and AVS:
"Definitely ground breaking!"

"While I cannot tell anyone what is going to be released at CES, I can tell you it is not an MKII version of the Excite as the Excite is still a very relevant series and really needs no updating. I can also tell you that it is most definitely not a boom box or an all in one center speaker. I can tell you that this product is ground breaking high performance product that will be situated at an affordable price point."

Not true at all......"

"To be 100% truthful it is NOT a Contour change"

So we know it's not Excite nor Contour and Focus just got it's refresh as did Confidence. I don't think anyone would use affordable to describe Consequence or Evidence (not a knock, just a simple fact), so that would leave DM, sub and installation in the current lines. Given the teaser image, I'm going to rule out installation. I'll guess against just a sub from the "new way of listening to music" line. We also know that it's not a boombox or sound bar.

So, it could be a reworked DM line, but they just added new components to it last year. Or, it could be a new line entirely. I'm feeling something wireless - flexible placement, no need for cable runs. Separately, I have a feeling about desktop nearfield audio (a la the MC 15 and all their studio monitor offerings), but that may just be because of my own personal interest in that category. Regardless though I am feeling something of an active speaker nature.

Hmmm, am I getting any closer Mick?

Jeff
