Go for the Dragon, or you'll start wondering "what if" 30 minutes after opening the hurricane box, lol.

I'm ordering a 2 meter Audioquest Hurricane on Monday. I've been using an Audioquest Thunder power cord for the past couple of days. I prefer it over my Wireworld Silver Electra 7 with upgraded plugs. I should have the Hurricane on Friday. Cables really are about system matching...I tried the Shunyata Sigma power cord and I prefer the Audioquest Thunder in my system.

So you liked the Thunder? I'm thinking of trying one in place of my Wireworld Electra 7 to feed my Niagara 1000....

Yes, the new Sigma cords. It just goes to show you, it's about "system synergy" more than anything else.

Yes, I like the Thunder. One of my local stores let me have a home trial of their demo and I really like it. Unfortunately, the store is Bjorn's and they really aren't a "high-end" dealer. I don't have the opportunity to compare the Thunder, Tornado, and Hurricane to each other. Based on the very good results I have with the Thunder, I'm just taking a chance and going for the Hurricane to go from my amp to the power conditioner. The only thing I don't like about the Thunder is their stiffness. It's very hard to bend the Thunder to make them fit in tight places.

Thanks, yeah the size of it looks like that would be an issue for sure. I had this same problem with my Oak speaker cables.
