Connected the W4 sound Remedy to the Sonos this morning . I am it running to the MDA1000 . I must say that the sound is better than I expected. The clarity ,definition and overall presentation is extremely pleasant. It just is amazing what that little box can do. This was a great addition to my system.

Just connected my second Remedy via new 0.5m WW Starlight 7 cables between my Sonos and D100. I have fallen in love again with Pandora. The first time was because of the convenience and this time it is for the sound. Playing the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy channel right now and the house is rocking. The dynamics are thrilling and, here is the kicker, I don't have it loud. It sounds great at Low levels, full and rich bottom end and did I mention the dynamics? I have an entire big band orchestra spread around my room. I am a huge fan of the Remedy. Sent from my iPad using A.Aficionado

Craig... Glad to hear! It really is an amazing device; frankly I've lost count how many I have.

I saw this question was asked but didn't see a reply. So...

Has anyone tried the Remedy between a CD player and their DAC?

I have found using the DAC in my C 2500 along with cable replacement and Stillpoints addition have improved the sound of my 205 player.

I am curious if the Remedy might further improve the sound and how significant the improvement might be.

Thanks!

I use a Recovery between my music server and DAC (USB reclocker).... I also use a Remedy to go between the spinner and DAC, for Redbooks.... makes CDs a whole lot more enjoyable!

I'm late to the party having just learned about it from Craig. Here are a couple of questions, do you feel the wall wart power supply to be an issue ? The reason I ask is that some fellow members here have recommended power supply upgrade to the sonos connect and the wall wart seems well going backward from the improvement in the sonos ps upgrade ? Second question is can you attach multiple components to the reclocker if your only planning on using one at a time i.e. One attached to optical and one for coax ? Lastly , Ivan are your still carrying this item

You can attached both an optical and a coax to the Remedy. There is a switch to select which one to use on the unit. I feel the power supply that comes with the Remedy is pretty decent. For the Recovery I felt the power supply was a cheapy and I purchased a iFi iPower. The same power supply could also be used with the Remedy if you are so inclined. The iFi iPower is only $50 (if you can find one) and well worth it for the Recovery. BTW, the Recovery is similar to the Remedy but designed for USB.

Hi 1KW,

Regarding the power supply, the ones supplied with the Recovery and the Remedy are typical SMPS variety. Adequate enough to get the job done but of course many people choose to upgrade to a linear power supply. I'll point out that we just came out with our own LPS which we feel is pretty special. The biggest plus is that you can power up to 4 devices with it, saving on space, wall outlets and cost. You can read more about the new PS-1 and preorder one here.

As Randy pointed out, yes you can connect multiple devices simultaneously to the Remedy and use the switch to go between them.
