Does not sound like a calibration issue. Could be a defective unit, I would call MS direct, those guys are great.

Connect the phono cables directly from the TT box to the FozMeter, only issue with a 0.3mV vs for example my Delos at 0.6mV is the needle will read lower number. Right now I read close to the 30, you might read say in the teens....Does not matter the number, ur just trying to get each channel close/same.

Tim.......It's been awhile since I used the Fozgometer so I reread the instructions. I see where it says if ultra low output cartridges need additional gain to use the phono preamp outputs or the preamp tape outputs to connect the Fozgometer. Since I did not need the additional gain when I dialed in the azimuth on my Ortofon Cadenza Black (0.33mV output) and Ortofon Cadenza Blue (0.5mV output) moving coil cartridges, I overlooked that information.

For your information, with the 9V battery installed in my Fozogometer and the switch turned on I have only the Center green lamp lit and my meter needle sitting on zero (0).

Thanks for checking, Dan.
I spoke with Chad from AS. He and his staff could not have been any more professional. After asking a few questions, he will send a new unit. I'll put the defective unit in the same box and ship it back. This is why I buy 95% or more of my vinyl from AS.

I would still double check the calibration when the new one arrives, it's VERY easy for them to shift during shipping.
