Question Any one w/8003 going to the av7005
I was wondering if any one has the 8003 and is or has switched to the av7005?

I have the 8003 now but due to the need for upgrade in networking and since I have a 3d set up I was thinking of making the switch.

Now keep in mind that either of these units will only be used for movies since I have complete separates for music using my mcintosh 2300.

So the cost savings I figured is on the two chnl side of which i don't use?

Any thoughts?

I have the AV7005 and it works and sounds very good. Handles Blu-Ray and 3D nicely.

I was considering the separates but they would just take up more space and just be passing the signal from DirectV or the Blue-Ray. A no brainer for me.

I wonder why the AV7005 retails so much less than the AV8003? I have the AV8003 and have no desire to upgrade, yet.

Anyone here tried out the Dolby Headphone feature? Does it really sound like 5.1 in your head?
