I hope it can work with other cables. I do know from a friend that a hi end dealer in Singapore uses the Purist Audio Design cables with their Wilson speakers to good effect.
Transparent cables are a bit pricey!

Interesting: my dealer says that to call them speaker wires is a misnomer. They should be called amplifier cables. Because basically they are an extension of the amplifier's output stage. Thus making synergy with the amp more important than that with the speakers. Interesting theory. One that certainly holds for Naim and Ayre as far as I can tell.

Yup! PAD cables and Wilson Audio are from the same stable of Singapore's dealer - appropriately named - High End Research! The owner happen to be a personal friend way back in mid eighties when I started out working and he's dealing with Video tape biz and an audiophile. Today, most of the high end brand he carries ..... AR, Goldmund, SF, .... Check out this link:

High End Research - Where Hi-End is Redefined!

Well, he used to be the agent for Transparent .... but lost it due to some reasons and then took up PAD.

Seriously, I would match Transparent with Wilson than PAD.

Cheers!

I do understand from reading that the Watt Puppy Series were notorious for being too revealing, clinical.

Thanks again.
One of the things I am enjoying most about the Sophia 3s is they make poor recordings easy to listen to, they do not try and clean them up. They make them sound as good as they possibly can without calling out attention to flaws. The same can be said for associated equipment driving them.
When a recording is really great, wow, they place voices and instruments exactly where they should be and they are all arounders, jazz, rock, folk you name it sounds great.
