I am betting entertainment. Kal has forgotten more than I will ever know.

Sure but that's OK. To make a guess, I'd say entertainment/info was about 70/30.

Actually the guys designing the current Krell product are the same guys that have been designing them for 20 years, Dan's just not there to put his stamp on them. There is no doubt that their offerings are stronger than ever in terms of sound and build quality. As far as recommended components, Stereophile is doing far fewer reviews than they used to. In the 90's the mag ballooned up to nearly 400 pages with 20 reviews and many more follow ups in each issue. They simply don't see all that much gear anymore.

Thank you!
The real problem from my side. Is the price. I am trying to save money for the Evolution 402e But it may take a very longggg time…. |

I have Krell FPB 600 in my studio to drive my B&W 802,i can say that this is one of the best in bass driving but not in other detailed that stereophile like, untill i change my speaker cable THE MIRACLE HAPPENED,yes i used vandenhull evolution 4 in each speaker for biwire connecting but i change it with Vandenhull Third and everything changes to really Hi End sounding, perfect perspective lovely hi frequency and deep basses, dark silent and much more detail , really comparable with my Gryphon Encore setup in my home with Von Schweikert unifield 3.
i want to say the matching between them is very important for judge. Iman |

Is it not overkill to drive the 802 with FPB 600? I read that too weak amplifiers may harm the speakers, however too strong is also not so good… |

the 802 is very bad drive speaker, and need more power to drive.use 600 watt krell is not to have a big loud sound i hear the music in less than half volume but 600w can have better control in bass drive. hope it useful |
