In addition to my MR88 tuner, I also have the MR78 Modafferi mod tuner, a Soundcraftsman T100 tuner and Dan's former Crown FM Two tuner (thanks Dan). Like Dan and others I believe a great system deserves a quality tuner.

Nice review Dan. I just start getting back into FM and you start showing these type of pieces
 ...Well maybe shortly I will be checking out those stations in your area... I get plenty around here, but most are a mix of pop/rock. No good jazz at all. For now the MR85 is doing all I need... but I do like what I hear about MD...

I really enjoyed reading your review Dan. I live in the Cascade foothills near the Canadian border, and finally had to give up on FM. Even with a roof antenna I could only get a couple of Canadian stations. I love living here, but I do miss FM, and remember the fun of scrolling the dial and discovering new stations and music.

Tony.......Thank you. That's a beautiful place to live but with the Cascade mountains looming around you it puts you at a disadvantage for FM reception. Thank goodness there's plenty of other great sources for you to enjoy.

It looks like one heck of a tuner, for sure... but dang that is expensive
... Wonder if the MR88 can receiver Sirius stations, or only XM... I mean, they are the same company now, right? Wife and I have been Sirius subscribers for years... both cars and I listen through computer when working, mainly talk shows...
