Computer Speaker Recommendation
I've replaced my previous 2.1 computer speakers with pair of JBL LSR 305's but they're just not doing it for me. There are many reviews of how great these are and I do prefer them over the other options I've auditioned, such as Yamaha, KRK Rokit, M-Audio, Focal, etc. I am looking for a 2 speaker active monitor solution, and need to keep the size close to that of the 305. I would be using this mostly for listening to audio and occasionally playing guitar via a Kemper/Focusrite Scarlett Solo. I'm considering the AudioEngine 5+ as another option and may just blow my budget for a pair of KEF LS50 Active. Anything else out there I'm missing? Am I nuts for trying to find a pair speakers that would be great for audio and the occasional guitar playing?
Thanks for any suggestions. Paul |

If there is an LS50 active, go for it. I use the passive version with a Bel Canto integrated, and it rocks.
Needs a sub, though.

Thanks.
They do have an active version. I'll see where I can audition a pair here in LA. |
