Bud, Kiwi eludes to the power cable being omitted from reviews, so I'm interested to hear his/her findings on the subject.
There are so many cables that unless you can borrow them to try its just pot luck.

you can find so much cables brands and is not easy say this one is the top...
but what is sure is the to listen with a improvement at first change the cable from the source, than a pre and sure last the ampli power cord.
Hello Style,

Hope your Raidho's are performing to expectation.

I agree about the importance of power cable to the source.

I do think however that there is one power cable that is even more important and that is the one from your wall socket to your distributor. For that I currently use Nordost ODIN but will shortly be evaluating something else which promises even greater performance using revolutionary new cable design.

My Esoteric P03 D03 were highly sensitive to any cables.
I always prefer Shunyata Anaconda CX and later Anaconda Zetron with the Transport.
For D03 DAC, I used Transparent PL MM2x with Furutech FI28 connectors and later
very successful with Audioquest WEL.

Hi Kiwi,
Do give Siltech a go.. It did make my old dCS stack and Soulution amp very much listenable ~ despite their less than stellar reputations. Like you, basically I was aiming to wring that fuller meatier-on-the-bone quality type of presentation from them. Also, to lessen, if not totally alleviate their electronic hash, mechanical quality. Own Valhalla, KS Elation, SR (D), and tried many.. Substituting even *one piece out of these four AC cords feeding the dCS renders the sound almost unlistenable (to me), yes even the one that's feeding the Verona (clock) - sound then became noticeably leaner, hi-fi'ish. *The G5 Ruby Hill (which could be had for quite cheap now used I believe - is certainly worth a try, if it 'clicked', work up from there).

Them are key that made me able to bear and live with my old dCS stack for very long (10yrs)! Likewise, with Soulution, initially with Elation PC on it, nearly quickly sold them (the S710), again the Siltech changed its character all for the better ~ rendering a fuller, more relax/fluid/textured/nuanced/analog tone to it. The older Siltech G5/G6 may seem fuller sounding as they tend to be slightly tapered off a little at the extreme ends. Newer G7s are quieter, more neutral, better extended and balanced, whilst improved upon the goodness of what their previous generations are renown for (ie.smooth, weighty, organic delivery).

*Best to avoid too many mixing and matching of cable brands within a system when possible. I tried them in the past, what it gave is a head full of ache and a big hole in pocket! Try by looms from same maker, zero-in to one which have best synergy in system/works for you, then play within their line, IMHO.

Hi Toga,

Thanks for sharing. I would be very interested to know what is the rest of the system and what did the Shunyata and Audioquest PC's bring to the table?

Thanks!

Hi bvdiman,

Yes, Siltech is on my list and yes – you have exactly identified what I am attempting and why. The Esoteric + Valhalla was a case of “dry bone” presentation (even worse than no meat on the bone) when partnered with neutral amplification and extremely high resolution speakers (Raidho).

I agree and this is what I have practised for some time. I have a complete Nordost loom. Well-designed cable families bring synergy and predictability to the proceedings.
