No way of knowing for sure unless you actually try and my BAT gear is long gone. If I had to guess, I'd say it would not be a bad sounding combo. There would be no hint of leanness with that pairing but perhaps may be a bit on the darker side which to my ears is always more pleasant than the other way.

Thanks analog brother. Very happy with Ref 2SE. Used to have PH5 and PH7, but the 2SE is just in an another league. The Ref Phono10 is tempting, but too expensive for me. I'll rather upgrade the CD player...

yes i agree - the 10 phono is double the price of the 2se.
can only be a little better, right....???? anyway, you are already routing the signal through a 10 preamp, so you are more than halfway there. |
