Default addition of television to two channel

My wife wants me to explore the addition of a televion to my two channel. Problem is my that my components sit below a window and if I put a monitor on top and in between the speakers the window gets blocked. Which raises the question on hydrolic lifts. Any ideas about furniture that raises a monitor. Size not yet determined but somewhere between 40-60 inches.

Maybe a motorized projection screen with heavy black back drop to block out the window. This way you can have your 2 channel "with a view" whenever you want and drop the screen down for projector viewing when she wants. Most the furniture is fairly expensive that I have seen so the above may not add too much to the cost.

Have projector and screen in my other theatre room but this room has vaulted ceilings.
