Correct Tommy.
Art drove them with the standard CC.

Thanks Matt !

Sorry, Jerome.. That won't work with Shindo. I've heard the combo. Its not just about power as you know.

Hi Jonathan,

Well, that will make an other pair of speakers to sell then...
I know that at least Alan Shaw does not agree with you here.
You know I have other power amps than Shindo so in case the CCQ do not have the juice, others will.
I am surprised though because Art Dudley found the sound of the 40.1 wonderful with the regular CC, which are twice less powerful than the CCQ as you know better than me.

I was warned also not to use the CCQ with the Wilson WP8's and all the people who come home and listen to that combo just find it wonderful. Actually the CCQ drives the Wilson's much better than the MC2301's beasts ! Go figure....

My sincere thoughts for the loss of your friend.

Lovely speakers. Good bass. Heard them many times and they are always impressive...

Also check out the 30.1's, for the price the cannot be beat...

Oh....Boy...Jerome....I miss my Harbeth M40.1 so much....I'm really thinking hard to re-purchase them again...You will be in heaven with the M40.1

Here is the video clip of my M40.1 with MC275's and MC601's they do sing together very well.

I can tell you from experience that the Harbeth 40.1s won't work with Shindo, believe me I have tried. You will get sound, but you will be stifling a lot of what the Shindos do. I like Harbeth, but definitely not the right speaker for Shindo amps.
But it's your money!
