I thought the Lansche speakers showed promise, but were suffering I think from being in too small a room. The bass was very thumpy and not articulate.

The NTTs were being played at like 115dB when I walked in and I couldn't take it!

Hi Jeff,
Waiting to read about TWBAS12. I have a Moon W7M power amp and like it more than
Vitus Class A 50W amp. Top end is more sparkle. Now Also interested to replace my Esoteric P03/D03 with P02/D02 as well. Can't wait to read your review how great is 02 Series.

We've posted eight articles on the companies invovled in TWBAS 2012. I think some aspects of these products are unique and there are questions answered. For instance, the sensitivity of the Q7, the biamp configuration of the Vitus amps, the technical aspects of the Esoteric combo . . . the potential is there. But of course it has to all synergize and sound good . . . and time will tell on that.

TWBAS 2012 has started! Please post any questions you may have and I'll answer through the weekend as the event goes on. If you have any questions for any of the manufacturers I will get it to them firsthand and post a reply in close to real time. Thanks.

Hi Jeff,
I have question regarding Esoteric 02, for the manufacturer. Please forward to them.
Why is there a slow disc loading mode on the transport ? What' is it for? and what is the benefit of slow loading ? What the transport really do in this mode to make any benefit ?
Thank you and enjoy music with these system . Looking forward to read your full report.
