This concept was tried before. The Mag Lev has a few issues. Cannot use a MC cartridge because that throws off the other magnets that facilitates the levitation, causing the tonearm to leave the platter. Persons with pacemakers should also be no closer than one meter. Let's see what the future will hold for the Mag Lev, but at this time I chalk this up as another gimmick.
