It was a betrayal of the worst kind. IMHO.

A little but the Goldmund combo is so good that it really doesn't creep into my subconscious much.

Late in the day and that lovely amp is long gone but I thank Elberoth for the very informative link. All of that is news to me and I am glad I am better informed now. I must admit when I saw a recent video of the English operation it looked so haphazard and scruffy it put me off buying anything now reading this I will just continue to save for the "real" thing!

I had the pleasure and honor to own the original Audio Note Japan Neiro and a Kondo SIlver M7 KSL line stage. Your impressions of the ONgaku are not at all foreign to me. I recently sold both pieces due to my downsizing for retirement. I miss them. Both are amazing but the pre is really special. It makes everything sound human and natural. I now own a nice little Shindo integrated. IT has some of the qualities of the Kondo/ANJ gear and is small enough to suit my upcoming downsized home.
Nice review..... |
