Default Absolute Sound C-2300 Review

Anyone have a scan or some type of electronic copy of TAS C-2300 review in Dec 2009?

Dan, it's funny because they tested the C2300 along with the 2301's and finally they don't say a single word on the sound of the 2301's . Do you think they did not like them ? or maybe they wrote something in an other article...
Cheers,

Jérôme

Don't worry guys. I believe the MC2301 review from Harry Pearson will be in a forthcoming issue. He seemed to hint at liking them in his opening remarks though.

You're welcome for the link(s); don't know how long it/they will be 'active'. I was a bit worried about legality of (the other website) posting the review and thought I should put a step or 2 'buffer' in. Likely I worry too much ...

Sounds like Harry LOVED both systems ... definitely -worthy from my perspective! altho I don't have room for 2301s anyway ...

One thing that struck me (likely just a hallmark of HP's reviews) was that less than 1/3 of the article was about the sound of the unit(s); the rest was about the features, looks, etc.. Which is all good, but still ...

I guess he was correct about his initial comments about this being a hard review to write, since he didn't find much if anything to criticize nor 'characterize' the sound of the units.

BTW, Harry should get a little more up-to-date ... "McIntosh ALMOST marketed a vinyl playback system" ... ???!!!
