Guess you e never seen a top fuel NHRA drag race then either. 1/4 mile and their almost empty.
Used to watch hydroplane racing as a kid in Seattle every year growing up. For years went to winternationals at Pomona raceway for the NHRA drags. Nothing like em anywhere.

You have no idea. Don’t get near the inlet side if it’s not hooked up. It’ll suck dry. LOL.
It’s really something to go to the pits where the crews work on the engines. Testing them after reassembly, or “barking” them as they say is scary but a blast standing about 10 feet from The crew. Of course getting enveloped in a green cloud of nitro-methane is an experience all by itself.

Also you’ll experience the mind numbing concussive effects of those engines as the dragsters fly by you. Your eyes rattle in their sockets, literally. You can’t focus as they blow past you.
