I wound up taking the 508 home with me the day I also bought an SME 20/3. If you don't need a lot of flexibility or multiple inputs, I contend it's the best sounding phono stage on the market. My dealer and I were laughing at how great the Boulder sounded, in fact it sounded better in my opinion then the $40k D'agastino phono stage we had been listening to.

Happy I have the Boulder in my system!
