Hello,
I have a Champion Level II; I recently found on some slow piano tracks speed seemed a little bit low. I've replaced the belt and I've oiled the axis. I've bought a stroboscopic disc and the Dr Feickert's App for my Iphone with the disc playing a 3150 Hz. I need help to understand the values I've found: Mean Frequency: 3154.5 Hz WOW according to DIN IEC 386 using method 2 sigma: +/- 0.30% using method dynamic: +/- 0.19% Raw Frequency: max deviation (relative): -0.71%/+0.76% max deviation (absolute): -22.4Hz/+23.9 Hz Lowpass filtered Frequency: max deviation (relative): -0.06%/+0.03% max deviation (absolute): -1.8Hz/+0.8Hz Thanks in advance. |

Georges,
Your average speed is a little bit too high at 3183.4 Hz for 3150 Hz you should find;but for raw frequency it's like the Rega P9 and Audiotecnica, quite good or tolerable imho. No reply from Avid? |

I've just made a new test after listening to an album. I did it without stopping the table so to avoid the variation from when the table starts. The results are even better than the Verdier but don't tell that to Jerome |

That's what I told you, let the platter turn for a while before measuring...
You can buy an option for the App which will give you the WOW IEC DIN 386, if you want. |

I need to do that and you need to pay as well to save the graphs.
