Just one medal ahead at close of play though. Methinks it will be 3rd place again. How those Chinese do it, far away from the TV coverage, I'll never know.

I thought it was a great games, Rio was a lovely backdrop and we-stop it!-they put on a great show. I spent precious little time doing anything else. Music reproduction? What's that?

And well done Team USA as well.
