New Makita cordless tool set

I just purchased a combo Makita cordless power tool set.

My question is that my garage can get rather hot inside (maybe in the high 80s to low 90s) as it gets direct sun. Will the heat ultimately cause issues with the lithium ion batteries and/or the tools themselves?

Storage at 80-90 degrees F shouldn't be much of an issue, but prolonged storage at higher temps can cause premature capacity loss.

Jon.......Now worries. These batteries and tools, just like the DeWalt versions, are made to be put to work, not gently stored. I have set up many a tool room on large job sites where we stored and charged 20 to 30 battery operated tools. Most of these tool rooms were set up inside rented connex metal containers where the temperature routinely sat at 95 degrees with the doors open, and hotter with the doors closed. I never had any issues with premature battery failures. The drills, reciprocating saws, portable battery operated lights got checked out in the mornings, used all, and charged at night. Your conditions are not severe enough to be concerned about.
