She gives Etta a run for her money on I'd rather go blind though.
Beth Hart is pretty amazing. She puts a lot of sole into her singing.

Just finished listening to her latest, "Bang Bang Boom Boom". A very good mix of blues, gospel, rock and roll. My pressing (LP) is 3.75 out of 5.

If Joe B. lets her sing with him she must be good. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Joe B. has a rousing guitar solo on a track on "Bang Bang Boom Boom". They have second collaboration coming out soon in '13.

Also discovered Beth Hart's version of "I'd rather go blind" recently - terrific. but for me it's the Christine Perfect/Chicken Shack's 60s version which reigns supreme. Also heard another great version by Kathi McDonald - she sang in the Long John Baldry band but sadly died late last year........it's on You Tube.

I just listened to that version you mentioned. Her voice reminds me of Christine McVie's voice. I like it, but I think I like the edginess of Beth's version s little better. This version by Chick Shack I heard on Youtube has a classier, more laid back sound.
