Hey..new member here But we have the same speakers. GoldenEar Triton 1s. I also have the MC452. C47 pre with Sony HAP 1ZES HDD hi-rez server. VPI Classic turntable/Ortofon Cadenza Blue cart.

I too have been reading about the 2600 and wondered if there would be sonic improvements coming from the c47. Only had since September. Its been awesome.

I got a screaming deal on an open box c47 tho.

I had a c47 with my 452 and loved it (focal sopra 3's).Replaced the 47 with a brand new 2600 and after the break in, love it even more. If you listen to a lot of vinyl, I definitely recommend the 2600. Same DAC in both I think

I wonder what the sonic differences between the 2600 the C52 are? I am thinking about trading my 2500 in, but if there is not really a step up in sonics then maybe not. The other thing I am contemplating is the difference in sound between the built in DAC's in the new units from the older MDA 1000 DAC?

Dear friends,

Do you think there are significant sonic differences between C2600 and C2300 ?

Thank you.

I've wondered this, too. I'm all for interchangeable DAC options, and separate digital/analog chassis.

Good post. I am in the same boat. I was thinking C47 or C2600 but am leaning of getting the C2600. Haven't heard them yet but have listened to the previous models of each.

I listen to all types of music via digital.
