Speakers are made for listening and not for wondering what they remind them of, how much or why they cost so much. Most customers who buy the upper line of Wilson are true high end audio fans and serious music connoisseurs/listeners. There is obviously something to Wilson that makes them part with $150k for speakers. I am sure what the speaker looks like is their least concern. I actually really like the Maxx 3 and Alexandria looks but I wouldn't make my decision based on looks at that price range, it's all about performance.

The A2's are speakers you build a room around, not the other way.

Or at least have the room compliment them.

Very classy room. Great speakers. Crappy set-up with all that furniture between the speakers and the listening position. All show and not go, especially without the connectors.

Sasha is 10 days away. New woofers, new mid-driver, new crossover, new cabinet material, new cabinet design. Lots of new.
