Is the 088 preamp better than the 011?

How about the DAC in a 088 or 077? Is it better to have the DAC in a CDP vs a preamp because of "digital noise"? And is the Burmester DAC module better than say a Naim DAC or something of that caliber of DAC?

Now that woud be the basis for a great review. I wish Joe and I had more options to demo Burmester gear, we could really do a great service for the Burmester community. That is what I really admire about the McIntosh community. Besides their sheer bigger membership, they give excellent reviews and opinions.

I'll talk to Burmester NA to see if we can get a few more things through here, if for no other reason to get some more info for AA. If they can spare it, I'm sure we can find out more for you.
