Drives them fine... My room isn't that large: 22X16X8... I've had people stop over that heard my system with CAM350s and the Lamms and think the Lamms sound much better and drive the speakers with no problems at low and very high volumes. Here is a quote from Lamms site:
"The M1.2 Reference is conservatively rated to deliver 110 Watts into 8 and 4 Ohms in pure class A operation (high and low impedance settings, respectively); 220 Watts into 2 Ohms, and 400 Watts into 1 Ohm (low impedance setting), continuous. The M1.2 Reference can drive any known speaker. The harmonic structure remains intact regardless of the speaker load, while the extreme clarity is maintained at all power levels." |

I too have the Lamms m2.2 but have not driven them with big speakers... someday, i hope to drive them with the Wilson Sophias or the Sashas. Noli |

I have thought about changing over to Wilson Sashas some day. Just not in the near future.

Man, do I love my new Lamm M1.2 Ref monos. It seems as though they simply liberate the music. Whoo-Hooo!! Simply stunning. Now let the tweaking begin.

1.) critical mass stands--- almost a must! makes a very big sonic difference. Fuller, denser, more organic, more 3d soundstaging. 2.) powercords-- experiment & the results varies, kubala sosnas is one of my fave. 3.) damping plates on top of the chassis (HRT Resolution) 4.) 20A or 30AMP dedicated line!!! quieter, more dynamic & effortless These lamms are musical out of the box, but they will continue to get better as you log in more hours. They are revealing of upstream changes! Good luck |

Critical Mass is good stuff.

WOW! My new Sashas are beginning to give up the goods. The break in period has been an emotional armageddon for me. Day one, listening was blissful. Day two, there was a huge hole in the soundsatge on the left side. Day three, it equalized a bit, but got dark. Day four, that pesky hole showed up on the right side. Day five, ahhhhh! I'm told that this will continue to happen until there is about 1000 hours on the Sashas. I just want you all to know that my Lamm M1.2s are wrestling all the pearls out of the Sashas. The Wilson/Lamm pairing is as good as it gets.
