I couldn't make the demo Saturday due to the game. Is he going to keep a pair of the Q3's on display in his store or even the Q1's.

Hey Jim, He talked about having a session with the Q5's in the near future. He also told the audience if they wanted to hear other amps to stop in. He didn't say he would be keeping the Q3s and since I wasn't impressed, I didn't ask... Great game this weekend for all MI college/pro teams.

I heard a demo of the Q5 played on VTL and Sim Audio gear awhile back.

Having read Jonathan Valin's glowing remarks before the demo, I was really anticipating the listening session. I ended up leaving the session after an hour as I was completely underwhelmed by their sound. While very transparent, I found the overall sound quite lean with no bottom end what so ever.

If it was David Michael Audio in Royal Oak their website says Argento cables. Although I'm not interested in the Magico's it will be an interesting listen. I'll be down there next week to check out some Harbeth speakers myself

Please let us know if the Q3s are still there. I wouldn't mind going back and listening with their 450 VTL IIIs to see if it improves.
