Jerry.......Don't even think about parting with the Meridian system. You would regret it for sure.

Hi Dan,

The Meridian system is here to stay ..... I was only saying ..... "IF" the day comes when I am just too lazy to walk out for a listen and stayed in the bedroom, then, I would probably make the Leben becoming the "MAIN" system.

If there's any system that had me now forgotten the itch, its the Meridian. As for the Leben, its a nice little amp thats going to be the focus for a second system for the bedroom. BUT "cost" wise, it really had to be something I can afford not to irk my wife. Thats why I can be patient to wait for USED (but mint condition gears) to appear and then choose them to match. Long process certainly, but I can wait. No hurry.

Cheers!

Of course, DeVore, Duevel can be considered. So, I'll wait patiently for the used market to show them.

I am not surprised that tubes may end up being my first system, cause by then, I may just be too lazy to come out to the lounge area to listen to the Meridian setup. Should that day happen, I'll just sell it off and keep the monies, buy a new tuner and transfer the Sooloos system to play thru the Leben.

Would that day cometh, I dont know BUT I am sure there's a high chance.

Cheers!
Just grab a Media Core 200 and you can play your sooloos through the other system right now...

Congrats Jerry on the beginnings of a Leben-based system. Hope the right speakers show up shortly so you can hook it all up and see how it sounds. Good luck

Jerry, never sell your white dsp 8ks. I might need them for my office!

Well, today I managed to sneak it back home, right under my wife's nose - the mod Leben CS300xs! Phew!

And I have also managed to listen to it pushing the DUEVEL DIAMANTE as well as the much cheaper entry level PLANETS! These are very pleasing sounding speakers, especially the Planets, small but cute speakers. Not too expensive too. Piano finish etc, ... I'll post pictures of the Leben once i manage to take pictures during this weekend.

Happy!

You just think you got it past your wife. Actually I heard she is working with a builder on your new analog room.

Jerry, what size room? You need a bookshelf speaker?

If yes, this is a great way to go with that Leben. Zu Audio Omen. 98dB and 12 ohm nominal! As tube friendly as it gets and cheap!
