Fair enough. I shall proceed on my quest, a lonely man, with only his sword and steed at hand.

Sounds like a tough road, but a journey that I know you will emerge a better man on the other side ..... nanu nanu

Don't give up the Quest Don Quixote - your Dulcinea is out there somewhere.

I fear you may find the 089 was a good place to be after all. I've done that more than once in my life!

Of course. But, as much as I adore and worship Burmester, I do not for one second condone their air of rightousness, starting with the North American distributor and down. I have not met one Burmester dealer that is not full of himself (except Ivan)
Edit: If I may, I would like to retract my statement. I called a Burmester dealer, said upfront I ma not ready to buy, and he gave me 30 minutes of his time discussing not only Burmester, but other products similar in price to Burmester. They are located in Silicon Valley around San Jose. Highly recommended and they carry Chord also.

A. Ivan is not a dealer yet (though I think he should be!)

B. Rob Neimann at Burmester NA has always been a perfect gentlemen and an excellent business guy, so I don't know what you are talking about there.

The rest of the dealers, I can't comment....

I've dealt with and talked to Arnold Martinez of Tweak Studio on more than one occasion. His knowledge and helpfulness was "A" one. The guys from Lyrics and Sound by Singer were also good to deal with when they were Burmester dealers. I think it's like stereo equipment. You have to have synergy.
