Congrats !

My story was a little bit different. The first time I heard the W/P 5.1 at HiEnd Show in Kempinski Hotel in Frankfurt, I did not like them at all ! They were powered by all Krell electronics (KSA-300S, KRC-HR) and I thought they sounded terrible !

It was not untill the Maxx II and Sophia I came out I developed a liking for Wilson sound. In 1995, beeing a poor college student, I never dreamed I would be able to afford one ... fast forward 15 years, and I have a pair in my listening room. Life is good !

Two pics guys:

These CELLO are soooo.... good, despite the difficult Sasha's impedance drop in the bass.

FLAMANT,WALLPAINT, Belgium brand, "Bain de boue" color painting on the wall. Very silky finish &look (but awfull to apply without leaving roller marks).

The Monbrison preamp is inside de cabinet, that I usually leave open during listening session.

The SASHA are just "jaw dropping". They have the speed and imaging of the best mini monitor with the authority and grace of the large speakers. And they sing, rock, swing like no other speaker I own previously.

Even with very little break-in the improvements are rather significant versus Sophia (serie 1). All parameters are simply better or much better. The only similarity is the stereo image width/extension on the sides. Every change is transmitted on a very revealing way (like interconnect or even removing a TIVOLI radio from the room).
