Default Nostalgic for the Eighties

Look at this nice looking stack from Onkyo.
Reminiscent of the Eighties.

Brad.......I have never been able to get too excited about Onkyo products, not even their Integra line.

I'm with Dan on this one, I never really liked the Onkyo products.

I do like the meters, but they really should have a blue background to really make them stand out

For me, it got to be YAMAHA in the eighties!

Somewhere deep within me, I do feel a tinge of regret for selling off my then combo of a Yamaha YP-D10 TT (with matching Beryllium Cartridge), The beautiful T1 Tuner, C2a Preamp and B6 Power Amp with the rare NS1000 speakers in ebony veneer!

Looking at the pictures scoured from the internet, it does bring me a sense of dejavu!

I owned an Onkyo receiver in the 80's, I believe it was the TX-SV515. I think I paid around 500.00 for it. I enjoyed it a lot. I was In my 20's at the time & I viewed it as higher-end. I never thought for a minute that later in life I'd
End up spending more than that on cables.

My son now has it and it still performs like new, some 20+ years later.

I find the biggest difference between Integra/Onkyo, Denon, Marantz and Pioneer is the spelling.
