Would guess it is an even higher ratio for BMW. Does Lexus or any of the Japanese hi-end marques even offer a stick?

Serge - do you think there is a chance we've gotten 'more mature'.
Glenn, I don't know about "mature" but perhaps a bit more "responsible".

Still a few manuals being offered here and there but even the new Corvette does not come with it anymore! The horror! Having learned how to drive a stick at 13 and borrowing my father's car without permission a few times, the manual has definitely been a big part of my life.

Besides the manual disappearing, I can see the self driving cars taking over completely in a few decades, although by then many of us will be happy to embrace it.

Siri, have the 911Turbo-E charged and ready, I have my Gerontologist appointment at 10:30 this morning... How long is the drive downtown with traffic? Oh, never mind... I'll take one of those Uber Flying Pods.

When it comes to women, the affinity for fast sports cars seems to be inversely related to their marital status...

that is a truism .. having been both single and married a good bit in my adult years.. I dare say you can coin this as a "law"..

I have it on my GT3 and I barely use it even on speed bumps. I don't do too many parking so maybe that's a reason.

My wife wanted a 911 in black whatever the version so I picked a GT3 as I track it every so often (well covid hasn't helped with tracks closed during peak season).

I had to get a divorce before I could get my 911... your wife sounds like a keeper.

Indeed she is. She also drives the car more than I do. She went on the track once with me but was too scared to drive there but not all hope is lost on that front.

That's under 45 mph (43.496 mph, if anyone cares). Surely that pretty much makes the car useless?
